The Entrepreneurial Black Hole
Everyone starts off with the same plan: “I’m going to work for a few years and once I get enough experience, I’ll start my own company.” This is the entrepreneurial black hole that people fall into and never get out of.
The corporate world does not prepare you for the entrepreneurial world. What you learn at your corporate job will most likely not carry over to what ...you will need as an entrepreneur. I stand to be corrected here. More importantly, the more you wait to be an entrepreneur, the more responsibilities you will have and the greater the risk.
My friends don’t understand why I sacrificed a stable salary; an entrepreneur chooses the lifestyle not for the fame or money, but because you are pursuing something that you love. Me I need money o! If not how will I pay my bills?
If you want to venture out on your own, pursue a call to greatness and a meaningful life on your own terms, if you want killer motivation combined with practical advice, do it!!! Do not wait for permission, do not wait for acceptance or validation, do NOT Wait, my friend, because TIME is the one thing that you cannot buy back with all the gold and power in the world.
Don’t get me wrong, the entrepreneurial life is not better than the corporate life. Which one you decide to choose completely depends on your personality and life situation. If you don’t have the personality type or the skill set to become an entrepreneur, don’t feel discouraged or upset. You could have the personality type and skill set to succeed in the corporate world. Embrace your DNA and take the path that will lead you to success!
